Parish History
Beginnings and early growth
- 1975: Fr Edwin C. Pinto began celebrating Mass at Nirmal Padav.
- 1980 to 1981: Church built and inaugurated on May 1, 1981.
- 1984: Presbytery built and blessed.
- 1976: Six acres donated to Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles for novitiate.
Education and expansion
- 1986: Higher Primary School started under Fr Cyprian Coelho.
- 1999 to 2001: Church and presbytery extended. Extended church blessed on May 21, 2001.
Recent milestones
- 2016: Sabha Bhavan parish hall inaugurated and blessed on December 18, 2016.
- 2018: Renovated church inaugurated and blessed on December 16, 2018.
- 2025: New presbytery inaugurated on June 5, 2025.

Parish Priests and their contributions
- Fr Edwin C. Pinto (May 1, 1981 to June 6, 1984): Founder and first parish priest. Built the original church and presbytery. Donated land and developed the socio-economic centre.
- Fr Cyprian Coelho (June 6, 1984 to May 16, 1993): Started the Higher Primary School and constructed the school building.
- Fr Bonaventure Nazareth (May 16, 1993 to January 7, 1999): Continued pastoral and parish work.
- Msgr Alexander F. D’Souza (January 7, 1999 to 2000): Extended the presbytery and the church. Extension blessed on May 21, 2001.
- Fr Alphonsus D’Lima (2000 to 2008): Parish administration and community building.
- Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza (2008 to 2013): Parish activities and catechetical programs.
- Fr Cyprian Pinto (2013 to July 28, 2020): Built Sabha Bhavan in 2016 and renovated the church in 2018.
- Fr James D’Souza (July 28, 2020 to present): Built the new presbytery in 2025 and continues pastoral work with zeal.
